Caloria indica (Indian caloria)

Identification

Orange head with white oral tentacles, orange to white body and blue banded cerata with white tips, smooth orange and white rhinophores.

Status

Fairly common.

Habitat

Mediterranean, Red Sea, East African coast, Indian Ocean, but most frequent in the Indo-Pacific, in a depth range of 2-15 meters.

Reproduction

Size

Up to 3cm.

Prey / Predation

It feeds on hydroids.
