Chromodoris leopardus (Leopard chromodoris)

Identification

Whitish body with brown, broken by large purple-brown spots and circles, purple mantle edge with wide white submargin, rhinophores and gills are white.

Status

Unevaluated by the IUCN Red list.

Habitat

West Pacific: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines to Papua New Guinea and Australia and Japan. Depth range is tentative, but covers at least 15-30 meters.

Size

Up to 6cm.

Prey / Predation

It feeds on sponges.

A beautiful species, but more is to be known about it.
