Identification
Tubesponge with a color range from pink to blue.
The edges are pale at the vent holes.

Habitat
Species is widespread: European waters, Adriatic Sea, Aegean Sea,rAzores Canaries Madeira, South European Atlantic Shelf, Tunisian Plateau/Gulf of Sidra, Western Mediterranean.
Estuaries, lagoons, coastal- and offshore reefs.
It lives on (coral) rocks between 2 and 35 meter.
